Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills. Bartenders are responsible for the operation behind the bar, including preparing alcoholic beverages for guests. They should have extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu to serve professionally and meet company standards. Candidates should be organized, quick-thinking, and maintain composure.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Serving a section of the bar as determined by management
• Working effectively in a team environment
• Maintaining knowledge of food and beverage offerings and service standards
• Selling food and beverages
• Processing guest orders and payments
• Interacting with guests to ensure satisfaction
• Mixing and serving beverages following recipes
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Carrying trays with beverages and plates
• Clearing and resetting tables
• Washing stemware
• Serving alcohol responsibly per laws and policies
• Checking IDs and refusing service to underage guests politely
• Monitoring guest behavior after alcohol consumption and assisting as needed
• Maintaining personal appearance and hygiene
• Upholding integrity and honesty
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old in CA and NV; 19+ in AZ
• One+ years of full-service restaurant or bartending experience
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Ability to suggestively sell

Preferred Qualifications

• Two+ years of full-service restaurant or bartending experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Standing for entire shift, frequent reaching, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting of tubs and cases up to 75 pounds. Exposure to hazards, noise, and various environmental conditions. Frequent hand contact with water, sanitation solutions, and food products. Moderate to loud noise level.
