  • Support the approval process of interactive projects in all stages of the product lifecycle, facilitating the timely delivery of feedback to meet production deadlines.
  • Participate in weekly recurring functional meetings, taking and distributing meeting notes, tracking timely follow up on action items and facilitating the coordination and collaboration throughout the production process.
  • Support the management/upkeep/archiving of build submissions and documentation and provide builds to internal partners to support catalog distribution of titles.
  • Maintain production team calendar including key milestone dates and build submissions, stakeholder meetings, and key public communications.
  • May assist with other production department administrative tasks as requested during the internship.
  • Assist with database integration, and report generation across multiple projects.
  • Play game development builds to generate brand and qualitative feedback.

Lucasfilm Games Production Intern, Spring 2027

Working hand-in-hand with world-class studios, Lucasfilm Games creates interactive and immersive experiences that help extend the narrative of the Star Wars galaxy for fans around the world. With titles on console, PC, mobile and AR/VR, Lucasfilm Games pushes the boundaries of gaming through engaging storytelling, stunning graphics, and innovative gameplay.


About the Role and Program

The Production Intern will assist the Lucasfilm Games production team on all aspects of the licensed game production process. This person will handle administrative and logistical functions related to multiple products in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for partnering with a Producer to deliver innovative, high quality/brand-enhancing products.

  • Strong Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint/Keynote- Passion for the latest games and game platforms (Mobile, Console, and PC).

  • Openness to possible domestic travel.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Airtable and Miro and/or Figma.

  • Demonstrated and familiarity and respect for Lucasfilm franchises Prior experience with software development.

  • Active gamer on any platforms.


Required Education

Currently enrolled as a Senior in your final semester, pursuing or a Bachelor's Degree in Media, Game Design or related field.


Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization.


Additional Information


  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.

  • Must provide own housing during the internship in the San Francisco, CA area.

  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 25th- June 6th, 2027.

  • The pay rate for this role in San Francisco, CA is $23.00 per hour.
