Job summary

Interfor is seeking an energetic Lubrication Technician/Oiler to join our Eatonton, Georgia team. You will service reducers, perform preventative maintenance on drive chains and hydraulic systems, and support the lubrication processes across our facilities.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for weekends or holidays. You’ll work in a safety-focused, team environment within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience preferred, unless trainee.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and call-in duties.

Responsibilities

• Service all reducers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on drive chains and sprockets.
• Change filters on hydraulic units and check oil levels.
• Fill lube tanks and oil tanks daily.
• Service, repair and maintain automatic oil and grease lube systems.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Meet physical requirements: walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Lubrication Technician/Oiler, Eatonton, Georgia

Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Lubrication Technician/Oiler in Eatonton, Georgia.

What You’ll Do

• Must adhere to all safety policies and standards.
  
• Must adhere to all HR policies and standards.
  
• Service all reducers.
  
• Keep up with the preventative maintenance on all drive chains and sprockets.
  
• Change filters on hydraulic units and check oil levels.
  
• Fill all lube tanks and oil tanks daily.
  
• Perform basic maintenance on hydraulic units.
  
• Service, repair, and maintain automatic oil and grease lube systems.
  
• Perform any other duties in any area requested by Supervisor in order to keep area in operation.
  
• Keep work area neat and clean.
  
• Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

• 2 (two) years of experience (unless coming in as a Trainee).
