Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a Lubrication Technician to manage hydrocarbon handling and lubrication across the fixed plant. The role supports the Condition Monitoring and Reliability team and requires manual lubrication, grease systems, oil sampling, and CMMS maintenance.

This permanent full-time position operates on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland, offering a pathway to contribute to a major lithium operation and a broad, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years' relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Practical knowledge of fixed plant equipment.
  • High level of attention to detail and disciplined approach to work.
  • Relevant trade qualification.
  • Preferred MLA1 or MLA2 qualifications.
  • Positive can-do attitude and able to engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and improve.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS (Pronto or similar) is desirable.
  • Working At Heights.

  • Changeout of filters on air and oil system.

  • Manage stock levels in Lubrication storage areas.
  • Installation/Maintenance of grease lines.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lubrication Technician is responsible for hydrocarbon management within the fixed plant. This includes Master Lube Schedule development and the implementation of best practice storage, dispensing and analysis.

Key elements of the role are to carryout manual lubrication, maintenance of automatic grease systems, oil replenishment and oil sampling. Good hydrocarbon management is essential to achieving plant reliability and will be fully supported by the Condition Monitoring and Reliability team
