Summary
The LubeServ Senior Technician will support the field service operations across a variety of service offerings and participate in a continuous improvement culture using tools to drive safety, quality, delivery and cost excellence with the goal of proving value generation for the customer.
The successful candidate should have strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude, organizational, written and verbal skills, and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to machinery lubrication.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Conduct work safely by attending safety and production meetings and following site safety requirements including PPE, JHA/JSA, Lock Out/Tag Out, Work Permitting, and Near Miss Unsafe Condition reporting.
- Able to work effectively in an unsupervised capacity
- Able to lead in the absence of the Project Lead
- Follow directions and carry out tasks given by the Project Lead
- Able to read a tape measure, use pipe wrenches, and standard hand tools
- Perform lubrication maintenance tasks such as operating a grease gun, filling oil reservoirs, etc.
- Ensure equipment is properly lubricated by maintaining oil levels in automatic lubricating systems and conducting oil changes as needed
- Check and maintain oil levels in Oil Mist generators and other automatic lubricating systems
- Perform maintenance on oil mist generators regularly
- Follow designated grease routes to grease equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of added lubricants
- Identify and correct lubrication deficiencies, record tasks as completed
- Handle and dispose of lubricants properly
- Follow lubrication program best practices
- Verify equipment is tagged with correct lubricant
- Maintain oil sample ports, collect and process lubricant samples
- Submit completed paperwork promptly
- Operate oil transfer pumps and filtration equipment
- Operate forklift or dolly for loading/unloading materials
- Operate Scissor Lift/Man Lift
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and fueling as necessary
- Travel up to 80% of the time by truck or air travel
- Work 40-60 hours per week

Physical Requirements
- Lifting objects up to 50 pounds frequently, 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing, working at heights, balancing, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping
- Visual and hearing abilities necessary for safety and communication
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a plant environment preferred
- Ability to travel extensively
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Authorized to work in the US
- Pass drug, background, and other screenings
- Work in dusty, outdoor environments
