Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing, alignments, and basic services, while safely transporting customers and picking up parts.

This role requires a valid driver's license, at least 18, and willingness to work at least five days including Saturdays; benefits include tuition reimbursement, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires and supplies from vendors or the office with company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows traffic laws.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and basic services as directed by Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition using inspection/repair orders.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
