Job summary

Sunset Kia of Sarasota, part of Sunset Automotive Group, seeks a Maintenance Tech/Lube and Tire Technician. This full-time role offers full benefits and pays $18-$20 per hour. Auto service experience is preferred; schooling can substitute for experience, and ASE certifications are a plus.

Duties include lube and oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, and routine maintenance. Must have a valid Florida driver's license and be able to work Monday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience in an auto service center or oil change facility preferred.
• Automotive schooling and/or ASE certifications preferred.
• Valid Florida driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Perform lube, oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
• Perform other routine auto maintenance and repair including tire rotation and replacements, fluid flushes, air and other filter replacement, etc.
• Perform vehicle inspection and note vehicle maintenance and repair concerns
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Complete required Kia manufacturer training to become certified Kia technician
