Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician in Missouri. You’ll perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and related tasks while assisting with parts pickup and keeping the shop tidy.

The role includes customer transport in company vehicles and adherence to safety standards. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, being 18 or older, and availability five days a week including Saturdays; automotive knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Notes vehicle condition and reports repairs or safety concerns using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safety; supports a clean showroom and service area.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
