Job summary

Hanania Automotive Group is seeking a proactive Automotive Technician to perform oil changes, diagnostics, and routine maintenance in a collaborative environment. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and a strong commitment to quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; automotive training or certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Automotive repair and maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Background check and hair follicle drug screen required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance following standards.
• Diagnose vehicle issues and perform repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for service needs and install optional equipment as requested.
• Test drive newly delivered vehicles for damage or missing components.
• Report defects to supervisor and maintain tools/manuals.
• Communicate with Parts Department and service advisors for timely service.
• Keep vehicles clean and in optimal condition; report discrepancies.
• Uphold safety and ethical standards in a safe work environment.
• Execute other duties to support dealership operations.
