Job Description

The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for coordinating with the Production Foreman.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all lubrication services.
  2. Conduct thorough checks of customer’s cars (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
  3. Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
  4. Receive repair orders from either the Service Salesman or the Production Foreman and proceed to the service lift.
  5. Lubricate the entire car while looking for other items that may need repair.
  6. Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
  7. Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
  8. Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
  9. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
  10. Possess knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
  11. Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
  12. Have two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
  13. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  14. All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  15. All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, credit reports, and valid driver licenses.
