Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a lube technician or in automotive maintenance is preferred.
• Completion of a technical or automotive training program is a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks.
• Familiarity with automotive tools and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes on vehicles according to manufacturer specs.
• Inspect and top off all fluids including coolant, brakes, transmission, power steering, and windshield washer fluids.
• Conduct tire rotations, balance tires, and check tire pressure.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors or technicians.
• Communicate with customers to explain services performed and recommendations.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of service bays, tools, and equipment.
• Assist other service technicians to support efficient workflow.
