Job summary

Mauer GMC is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to perform light-duty vehicle repairs and service tasks. You will follow repair orders, inspect fluids, check tires, and communicate with parts and service teams to keep customers informed.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Inspects fluid levels and replenishes as necessary.
• Checks tire pressure and adds air as needed.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Documents all work performed with video and pictures for diagnosis and recommendations.
• Reports defects or malfunctions to service manager.
• Keeps customer cars clean and maintains appearance of vehicles.
• Maintains clean, safe shop and bays; operates tools safely.
• Complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other safety regulations.
• Supports additional tasks as assigned by management.

As Quick Lube Technician, you are responsible to perform light duty vehicle repairs. You are to model behaviors and a culture for success including integrity, respect, drive, community, fun and pride without ego, with self-confidence, and creativity.Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replenish as necessary.Check tire pressure and add air if needed.Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.Documents all worked performed, provide video and picture explanation for vehicle diagnosis, and recommendations.Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to service manager.Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.Keeps service bays and shop area clean on a daily basis.Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
