Job summary

Knight Automotive Group in Vinita, OK is seeking an automotive service technician to perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of vehicles. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer-focused service within a family-owned environment.

You will participate in ongoing training, follow manufacturer guidelines, and contribute to a clean, professional dealership. Training is provided if you’re new to the field, with opportunities for growth within the group.

Qualifications

• Previous lube or general maintenance experience preferred but training provided.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and passion for automotive work.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and basic maintenance services on a variety of vehicles.
• Check and top off fluids, inspect belts, hoses, brakes, and other key vehicle components.
• Perform multi-point inspections and document findings accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service bays and tools.
• Follow all safety and manufacturer maintenance guidelines.
• Communicate any service recommendations or concerns to Service Advisors or management.
• Assist in keeping customer vehicles and the dealership property clean and professional.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
