Job summary

Ron Craft Chevrolet/Cadillac, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, seeks a Lube Technician to perform oil changes and lubrication services efficiently and safely. You will work with a Production Foreman and Service Advisor to keep vehicles moving.

The role requires 6+ months of related experience, own tools, and a valid driver's license; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, and career advancement opportunities within a Fortune 500 company. Sundays off.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a technician’s helper or lube technician.
• Own set of basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform all automotive lubrication services (oil changes, topping off fluids).
• Check customer’s car for issues and refer repairs to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair order and proceed to service lift.
• Lubricate entire car and look for other repairs.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order.
• Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
• Follow all company safety policies and report accidents.
