Job summary

Sands Kia in Surprise, AZ is seeking a reliable Lube Technician to join our busy service department. The role involves performing oil changes, inspections, and maintenance with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

The position is full-time with potential for advancement and ongoing training. Compensation is $18.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services accurately.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine preventative maintenance.
• Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Check tire pressure and battery condition.
• Replace air filters and cabin air filters as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance or service needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and service standards.
• Properly use shop equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Communicate vehicle findings and service needs with Service Advisors and team members.
• Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.
