Job summary

Duval Ford in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an entry-level Fast Lube Service Technician to gain hands-on experience under seasoned Technicians. You will learn diagnosis, repair, and installation tasks across various vehicles.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Willingness to learn and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a team environment.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Manufacturer required training.
• Minimum of one month related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs with an assigned Technician.
• Assist the assigned Technician as needed.
• Deliver customer cars to service stalls as requested.
• Pick up parts from the parts department as directed.
• Perform safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Replenish supplies as requested by Technicians or Service Manager.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Attend training classes and departmental meetings.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely.
