Job summary

Holz Motors is seeking a Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.

The ideal candidate will have basic technical skills, good communication, time management, and a clean driving record, and must bring their own tools. Evening and Saturday hours are required.

Qualifications

• Communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork.
• Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced shop.
• Impeccable workmanship and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for shop software and records.
• Clean driving record for vehicle handling and test drives.
• Must have own tools to perform maintenance.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire repairs and basic maintenance as required.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Verify tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Evening and Saturday hours are required.

Position Overview

The Lube Technician performs routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire services, fluid checks, and vehicle inspections while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, basic technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire repairs and basic maintenance as required
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Verify tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
