Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, lubrication services, tire repairs, and minor automotive repairs. This role includes working with Car Care Center personnel and company-owned fleet, with opportunities to advance toward ASE Certifications and VA State Inspections License.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of automotive tire/lube/repair experience or six months of formal auto trade training.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1-year automotive tire, lube, or general repair experience or six months of auto trade school or other formalized training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services to automobiles.
• Perform tire repairs and installation services to automobiles.
• Perform any other minor repairs to automobiles as assigned by a Lead Tech or service writer, according to his/her abilities.
• Gain on the job experience in all areas of automotive repair and strive to obtain ASE Certifications and VA State Inspections License.
• Transporting members in company van to work or home.
• Picking up parts as needed
• Assist upper-level technicians as needed and for experience.
• Keep his/her work area clean and safe.
• Various miscellaneous duties as assigned by Lead Tech or management.
• Assists other level technicians as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Our Lube Technicians perform minor repairs and lube services to automobiles, while working with Car Care Center personnel and company owned fleet.

Primary Job Functions

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services to automobiles.
• Perform tire repairs and installation services to automobiles.
• Perform any other minor repairs to automobiles as assigned by a Lead Tech or service writer, according to his/her abilities.
• Gain on the job experience in all areas of automotive repair and strive to obtain ASE Certifications and VA State Inspections License.

Safe Business Driving Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire

The starting pay range for this position is:

$16.39 - $21.85
