Mullinax Ford of New Smyrna Beach is seeking a Lube Technician to join our team. Apart from typical oil changes, our team will perform brake, tire, alignment, shock/strut, battery and overall fluid, filter and belt replacement services. Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Requirements

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Perform regular scheduled maintenance on all makes and models.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
• Basic maintenance, including tire rotations, tire replacement, brake inspection, fluid top off, lubrication services, batteries, and light bulbs, among others.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive experience
• Must be a team player and communicate/problem-solve to achieve department goals
• Automotive diagnostics and general familiarity with vehicle operating systems desirable
• Must have a driver's license and a commercially insurable Motor Vehicle Report
• Ability to lift 50lbs
