Job summary

Jim Hudson Toyota Sumter is seeking Lube Technicians to join their team. Experience in auto maintenance is a plus, but training is provided! The company values employee success with a competitive pay starting at $15+/hour, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a positive working environment.

Responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, light maintenance, and ensuring a clean shop area. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a great work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience required in an automotive environment.
• Working knowledge of automotive shop equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point inspection of vehicles including fluids and brakes.
• Change or top off fluids, grease bearings, and check/change oil filter.
• Keep shop area neat and clean and account for tools.

Responsibilities - Lube Technician:

• Perform multi-point inspection of vehicle including fluids, battery, brakes, belts, tires, etc.
• Perform light line maintenance
• Change or top off all fluids, grease bearings, check/change oil filter
• Change, mount and balance tires
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed
• Keep shop area neat and clean and account for tools

Requirements

Qualifications - Lube Technician:

• Minimum Experience Required
• Working knowledge of automotive shop equipment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
