Job summary

Ocean Mazda Roswell in Roswell, GA is seeking a dependable Lube Technician / Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our Service Department. You will perform oil changes, inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance in a professional dealership setting.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to develop hands-on skills while ensuring quality service for our customers. No prior experience required; automotive school training or franchise exposure is a plus,

Qualifications

• Previous automotive maintenance or lube technician experience preferred.
• Automotive technical school training is a plus.
• Mazda or other franchise dealership experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to safely use automotive tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes and routine maintenance services.
• Perform tire rotations, tire pressure checks, and basic tire services.
• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, bulbs, and other maintenance items.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids as appropriate.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with battery testing and replacement.
• Accurately document completed work and inspection findings.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer service procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment.
• Work efficiently with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts personnel, and other members of the Service Department.
• Assist other technicians and service personnel when needed.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete assigned training and manufacturer certification requirements.
• Perform other service-related duties as assigned.
