Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Pascagoula, MS is hiring a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, blade replacements, tire air checks and light maintenance. You will work in a stay-in-your-car format with a focus on fast, friendly service.

We train all new teammates and promote from within, with a family-like shop culture and opportunities to advance from Lube Tech to shop manager level across locations.

Qualifications

• Must quickly learn Take 5 oils and services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail-style environment.
• Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filter.
• Grease chassis fittings and inspect/ top off fluids.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Assist customers in selecting oil type and other services.
• Process payment for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory on the shop floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and restrooms.

Good to Know Before You Start!

• It might feel like you are studying for a test at the beginning. It's important that all employees gain a strong knowledge of our oils and services.


• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars


• You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning


• May need to work in hot/cold weather conditions


• Always be alert and aware of your surroundings


• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds


• Need to have reliable transportation
