Take 5 Oil Change Biloxi is hiring a Lube Technician to perform basic maintenance like oil changes, tire checks, and fluid top-offs while ensuring a friendly, customer-focused experience. Training is provided to learn our oil types and service options, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates are people-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced retail-like environment, and comfortable with basic physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filter.
• Grease chassis fittings and inspect fluids.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Assist customers in selecting oil type and services.
• Process payments for services.
• Perform coolant exchange and transmission drain & fill.
• Restock inventory and maintain floor stock.
• Keep shop, office, and bathroom clean.

Good to Know Before You Start!

• It might feel like you are studying for a test at the beginning. It’s important that all employees gain a strong knowledge of our oils and services.
• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars
• You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
• You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
• Always be alert and aware of your surroundings
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Need to have reliable transportation

What does a Lube Technician do?
