Take Five Oil Change in Northlake, IL is hiring a Lube Technician. Training will be provided to learn oil changes, blade/air filter replacements, tire care, and light maintenance in a quick, car-wide service model.

The role emphasizes a customer-service mindset, safety in working around pits, and the ability to perform physical tasks daily with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit under cars.
• Walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
• Lift up to fifty pounds and perform manual tasks.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change the oil filter, grease chassis fittings.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Assist customers in selecting oil type and other services.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory on the floor.

What does a Lube Technician do?

• You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions
• Always be alert and aware of your surroundings
