Job summary

Take Five Oil Change is hiring a Lube Technician in Illinois. Starting pay is $16.50-$20.00 per hour plus a $300 employee signing bonus. Training is provided for oil changes, wiper blades, air filters, tire inflation, and light maintenance, with no prior automotive experience required.

As a Lube Technician, you’ll help customers pick services, perform oil changes, inspect fluids, wash windshields, and keep parts stocked. A friendly, fast-paced, car-care environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars.
• You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change the oil filter, grease chassis fittings
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services
• Process payment for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and fill services
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
