Job summary

Front Royal Ford is seeking an experienced Lube Technician to join our service team in Front Royal, VA. You will perform oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections in a fast-paced shop, while focusing on accuracy and customer service.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new procedures. ASE certification or an equivalent technical degree is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification or technical degree preferred.
• State inspection license is a plus.
• One year in a service department.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must have own tools.

• Replace cabin air filters, engine air filters, windshield wiper blades, and light bulbs.

Front Royal Ford is looking for an experienced Lube Technician to join our team! We are looking for someone who is serious about a future in the automotive field. The candidate should be willing to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment. The applicant must be reliable and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Draining and replacing engine oil, replacing oil filters, and checking/replenishing vital fluids such as coolant, transmission, brake, and power steering fluids.
• Performing multi-point inspections, checking tire pressure and tread depth, and lubricating grease fittings.
• Replacing cabin air filters, engine air filters, windshield wiper blades, and light bulbs.
• Identifying and recommending necessary additional services to customers based on vehicle inspection findings.
• Cleaning the work area, maintaining tools and equipment, and following all safety guidelines.
  

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in varying temperatures
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
