Description of the role:

The Lube Technician at Freedom Ford South will be responsible for performing oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks on vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong sense of customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs
• Provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a lube technician or similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Valid driver's license

Additional Tasks:

Perform vehicle oil checks, transmission fluid checks, inspect belts and filters, and monitor air levels and gauges.

Responsibilities:

• Test systems and components for proper operation
• Identify issues and isolate causes
• Drive vehicles for testing
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnostics and repairs
• Replace worn parts proactively
• Use power and hand tools for repairs

Requirements:

• Ford Certification and dealership experience are a plus
• Ability to diagnose quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and math skills
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures
• Operate diagnostic equipment
• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• At least 1 year in service department
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
• Work well in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude
