Job summary

Genesis of Northwest San Antonio is seeking an Express Service Lube Technician to join a family-owned team and build a long-term career, not just a job.

Experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. The role offers 40 hours, five-day weeks, Sundays closed, medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, Christmas bonuses, advancement opportunities, and tenure bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Requires a background check and drug testing.
• Experience a Plus but not required – will train the right candidate!!!

Responsibilities

• Receive repair Service Technician orders from dispatch and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required, or if repairs will need additional time
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.
• Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.

The Express Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
