Job summary

North Hollywood Toyota is seeking an experienced Lube Technician to support our Service department. This full-time role requires the ability to manage detailed service reports, operate hand and power tools, and support the Service team with vehicle maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of relevant experience, a Toyota certification, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for internal advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed vehicle service reports

• Recommend additional servicing after inspections
• Notify Service Advisor if work cannot be completed on time

Description

Pay Range: $20.00 an hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.

North Hollywood Toyota (TNH) is seeking for experienced Lube Technician to enhance our current Service department’s growth. We are seeking for a detail oriented multitask and energetic candidate to join our team. TNH offers a position work environment and encourages internal promotions.

As an Lube Technician, you’ll be responsible for managing service reports and follow work order for all operations listed. You’ll operate with variety of hand and power tools. You will be the leading support to our Service team.

This is a full-time role in which you’ll report to the Service Manager. You must be willing to work onsite at the North Hollywood Toyota office.

What you’ll do as a Lube Technician?

• Preparing detailed vehicle service reports.
• Replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries.
• Changing motor oil and transmission and brake fluid as needed.
• Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
• Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
• Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
• Notifying the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.

Qualifications

What we look for in our Lube Technician?

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience
• High School Diploma or higher
• Toyota Manufacture Certification Required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Garage Liability policy (Not an excluded driver)
• ASE certification preferred
• General mechanical skills
• Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds
