Job summary

Wayside Garage in Seaside, CA is seeking a General Service/Lube Technician for a Monday–Friday, 7:30–4:30 schedule. You will perform oil changes, rotations, brake inspections, and other service tasks, with paid training and a supportive team culture.

Earn $22–$28 per hour DOE plus performance bonuses, with weekends off, paid vacation and sick time. After 6 months, 50% employer‑paid medical, dental, and vision benefits; ASE certifications and ATI training are paid.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands‑on automotive service experience.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• ASE certifications are a plus (and we’ll help you earn them).

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid services, and battery installs.
• Assist Master Technicians with light repairs.
• Complete vehicle safety inspections and accurate digital documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
