RG&T Solutions is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks in our automotive shop. This entry-level role focuses on tire services, oil changes, basic inspections, and supporting shop operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older with a flexible weekend schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Complete oil changes, fluid checks, and replace filters, batteries, bulbs.
• Conduct Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs accurately.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings to the team.
• Assist with safety and emission inspections as applicable.

Role Overview: The Lube and Tire Technician is an entry-level position focused on performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and basic inspections. This full-time role offers opportunities to learn foundational automotive skills, support shop operations, and grow into more advanced positions.

Responsibilities Include

• Performing tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations
• Completing oil changes, fluid checks, and replacing filters, batteries, and bulbs
• Conducting Digital Vehicle Inspections and documenting repairs accurately
• Identifying safety issues and communicating findings
• Assisting with safety and emission inspections as applicable
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop and customer vehicles
• Transporting customers and parts as needed
• Adhering to safety protocols, using PPE, and reporting hazards
• Collaborating with team members, accepting coaching, and participating in training

Qualifications & Skills

• Dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, eager to learn
• Interest in automotive repair and basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow procedures, safety standards, and store processes
• Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Records check
• Must be 18 or older; flexible schedule including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade training
• Knowledge of mechanical and undercarriage assemblies
• Previous hands-on experience or shop work
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days if required
