Position Overview

We are hiring for the position of LTSR Therapist / Salisbury Behavioral Health. This is a regular, part-time role designed for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with intellectual, developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.
  • Develop and revise treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to clients and their families.
  • Work hours may include day, evening, and weekend shifts to meet program needs.
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s degree in a Human Services field.
  • One year of experience in a psychiatric or partial hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of mental health disorders and developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, establishing agendas and encouraging communication.
  • Assist clients in meeting psychosocial and environmental needs using a supportive casework approach.
  • Develop discharge and aftercare plans collaboratively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Document client progress and significant events accurately.
