Job description

We are hiring for:

LTSR Nurse / LPN / PRN / $5,000 sign on bonus

Type: Regular

This position involves providing support, services, and treatments to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in a home-like setting. You will provide oversight and general nursing care and services to persons with behavioral health challenges, performing duties listed in this job description. You will rely on your education, skill, and judgment to provide quality services with limited supervision. An unencumbered Nursing License is required.

Pay and Benefits
  • Pay: $30.00/hour
  • Sign on Bonus: $5,000
  • Multiple Shifts Available
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Experience: Five years in the human services field working with individuals with behavioral and/or mental health issues (preferred)
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
  1. Monitor healthcare needs and coordinate medical, dental, and vision care services and appointments.
  2. Assist individuals unable to self-administer medication, supervise medication and injections as prescribed.
  3. Educate individuals on medication use, side effects, and administration methods.
  4. Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting regulations for medication administration.
  5. Provide first aid as needed.
  6. Monitor medication and first aid supplies for expiration and inventory levels.
  7. Assist with personal hygiene, self-care, grooming, and daily living activities.
  8. Use safe crisis management techniques to handle agitation or hostility without physical restraints.
  9. Maintain communication with healthcare professionals.
  10. Complete all necessary documentation, including assessments, nurse notes, and reports.
