Job summary

Manitou Group in Belvidere, Illinois is seeking an LTL Shipping Associate to lead packing and shipping processes, verify orders, and coordinate with carriers on a daily basis.

This onsite role requires commitment to safety, accuracy, and lean practices; base pay starts at $19.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Verify the quantity and packing accuracy.
• Use RF handheld scanner to process products while packing.
• Pack product to maximize space and protect shipments.
• Train or mentor junior employees as needed.
• Lead and monitor packing stations to meet productivity targets.
