  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Travel extensively within an assigned geographic territory to conduct on-site customer visits, tour facilities, and represent Armstrong Transport Group in person at industry events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in sales, with a focus on LTL transportation services and solutions
  • Strong understanding of the logistics industry, particularly in the LTL segment, including knowledge of pricing structures, carrier networks, and industry trends
  • Demonstrated success in generating new business and expanding customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making at all levels of an organization
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a relentless drive for results and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Comfortable working independently in the field, managing a territory-based schedule with minimal day-to-day supervision
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads, opportunities, and sales activities
