Responsibilities

  • Unload pallets and other materials using a forklift.
  • Load multi-stop shipments, ensuring all skids are accounted for.
  • Secure multi-stop shipments properly.
  • Manage and maintain the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any issues.
  • Move heavy equipment and materials around the warehouse.
  • Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Work effectively as part of a team for timely order shipping.
  • Operate a forklift safely.
  • Help with switching trailers in and out of the docks.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LTL Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of forklifts and other heavy equipment in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling and a willingness to work in a physically demanding environment. We are looking for a flexible candidate, that can handle day to day changes in work schedules.

Duties
  • Unload pallets and other materials using a forklift, ensuring that all products are handled with care and stored in the designated areas
  • Load multi‑stop shipments, ensuring that all skids are accounted for and labeled correctly
  • Secure multi‑stop shipments. We ship a variety of goods, and each stop requires proper load securement
  • Manage and maintain the warehouse. This includes cleaning, restocking supplies, and making sure our equipment is in good standing
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team
  • Use a forklift to move heavy equipment and materials around the warehouse
  • Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in the correct area
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient order picking and shipping
  • Operate a forklift in a way that ensures the safety of oneself and others in the warehouse
  • Help with switching trailers in out and of the docks and move trailers around the yard

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed

Experience: Warehouse experience: 5 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate: Byron Center, MI 49315: Relocate before starting work (Required)
