Equity Staffing Group in Morrisville, NC seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced LTC pharmacy team. You will support pharmacists and technicians in preparing and processing prescription orders for long-term care patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC Pharmacy Technician license, PTCB or NHA certification, and prior pharmacy experience. You will help maintain inventory, comply with regulations, and contribute to safe, quality

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License.
Active PTCB or NHA Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Previous pharmacy experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare prescription orders by reviewing and verifying prescription information.
Retrieve medications from inventory accurately and efficiently.
Apply prescription labels to medication packaging and verify accuracy.
Scan, organize, and assemble medications into designated bins for distribution.
Maintain productivity while meeting established quality and accuracy standards.
Monitor medication inventory and communicate shortages or replenishment needs.
Remove expired or discontinued medications from inventory.
Mark opened medication bottles appropriately and maintain organized storage.
Restock pharmacy supplies and medications as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
Follow all company policies and regulations.
