Job description

A long-term care mail order pharmacy in Virginia is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 19-week contract opportunity. This role is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and are looking to make a real impact in patient care.

Position Highlights:

  • 4 days per week schedule

  • Shift: 9:00 AM 7:30 PM

  • 10-hour shifts allow for full-time work with three days off each week

  • 19-week contract with opportunity for extension or permanent hire

What You ll Be Doing:

  • Verify and dispense medications in a high-volume LTC mail order setting

  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacists to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Maintain strict adherence to pharmacy standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

  • Support a seamless delivery process to long-term care facilities and patients

Requirements:

  • Active Virginia Pharmacist License (must be current and in good standing)

  • Previous pharmacy experience required

  • Long-term care pharmacy experience required

  • Must be comfortable in a structured mail order environment
