Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an 8-week contract in Reno, NV, focusing on Long Term Care and Mail Order pharmacy services. You will play a vital role in dispensing medications and supporting patient health management.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm or 12:30 pm–9:00 pm, rotating every other Saturday. You will dispense, counsel, monitor usage, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy is highly advantageous.
• Licensed/pharmacist in Nevada required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Monitor patient medication use for compliance.
• Verify appropriateness and legality of prescriptions.
• Maintain confidential records and manage pharmacy documentation.
• Provide patient counseling on usage and side effects.
• Educate on prescription and non-prescription drugs, storage and dosage.
• Deliver patient services such as smoking cessation and BP/cholesterol monitoring.
• Educate patients on medical devices like BP monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and manage inventory.
• Identify drug-related issues and communicate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interns.
