SILAC Insurance Company is seeking a Care Specialist to provide personalized service and LTC product knowledge to customers, agents, and partners. You will determine eligibility, manage care planning, and coordinate with LTC staff to administer claims while communicating policy language clearly.

This role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely responses, and collaboration with leadership. In-office schedule with full-time hours and steady morning shifts supports a stable, client-focused work

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to assess policyowner needs and create individualized care plans.
• Experience communicating professionally, patiently, and clearly in speech and in writing.
• Ability to research and logically consider details from many sources, and to bring them together to support a conclusion.
• Experience using PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing workload and meeting time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Determine claims eligibility and manage cost effective care planning for LTC policyowners.
• Coordinate with other LTC staff to provide personalized customer service and accurately administer LTC claims.
• Communicate care planning to customers, providers, agents, and SILAC staff with evidence from records.
• Promote the value of Long-Term Care products and align with company mission and values.
• Improve written processes, procedures, and guidelines for care coordination and efficiency.
• Assist with claim appeals, legal disputes, and revision of forms and documents.
