Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Control Account Manager to support the LTAMDS program. The role will manage control accounts, work with the IPT and EBA to generate EV artifacts, and report to the program IPT Lead.

You will develop and maintain schedules, analyze cost and schedule performance, and contribute to IBRs and government surveillance reviews. Onsite in Andover, MA with a strong emphasis on EV and program performance management.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and related tools; broad project management knowledge and EV tools.

Responsibilities

  • Plan time-phased scope and budgets for assigned Control Accounts.
  • Collaborate with LTAMDS cross functional team from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality; partner with Program Planning and Finance to develop and maintain the IPT’s IMS tasks.

Company Overview

The Radar Mechanical Design Department leads mechanical design, development, and integration of some of the most innovative land-based and shipboard radars in the world. This includes phased array radar systems, electronic modules, pedestals, and power and cooling systems. The department is comprised of individuals with technical expertise in hardware design, integration, production and programming support. We use state-of-the-art tools, processes, technology, and Raytheon Core principles.

Security Clearance

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

DoD Clearance: Secret

Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Principal Control Account Manager to support the LTAMDS (Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor). The Raytheon LTAMDS franchise program will deliver a next generation radar with 360-degree visibility to defeat advanced threats including hypersonic weapons. You will support the program from start up through development as well as various related control accounts, providing back-up support to other CAMs, as needed. The CAM will be supported by Engineering Business Analyst (EBA) to generate EV artifacts required to manage the control accounts within the CAM’s scope. This role will report to the program IPT Lead.

What You Will Do
  • Plan time-phased scope and budgets for assigned Control Accounts.
  • Collaborate with the LTAMDS cross functional team including members from Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality Partner with the Program Planning and Finance discipline to develop and maintain the IPT’s Integrated Master Schedule tasks as well as status level of effort tasks.
  • Manage IPT EVMS performance by reviewing labor and material actuals, supporting analysis of actuals vs plan, schedule status, cost/schedule integration, cost/schedule performance, corrective action plans, performance recovery plans, rolling wave baseline planning, Budget Change Requests (BCRs), Latest Revised Estimate (LRE), and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
  • Contribute to development of all EVM-related deliverables (CPR, CFSR, VAR, CTDR) and associated program performance metrics.
  • Prepare for and execute Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs).
  • Support Government Surveillance Reviews.
Qualifications

Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), including material EV, coupled with broad based project management knowledge and EV Tools (e.g., Planning/Scheduling, EVMS, IMP/IMS, Financial Forecasts and EAC). Experience developing schedules, estimating, and analyzing costs, monitoring, and reporting integrated cost/schedule progress using EVMS, preparing variance reports, and identifying and facilitating resolution of cost/schedule issues and corrective action plans.

Qualifications We Prefer Experience establishing EV baseline. Experience supporting a program that will be audited by DCMA. Experience as a CAM for all types of scope: material, labor, ODC. PMX Tools Experience. IPT Lead Certification (PM Level 6).

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
