Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified hospitalist to join our LTACH team in Washington state, with a 7-on/7-off schedule that supports work-life balance. This inpatient focus centers on post-acute rehab patients with hospital-level oversight.

You will manage admissions and discharges, coordinate care with an onsite physician and APP, and preserve your inpatient skills in a lower-acuity, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active Washington license.
• Background in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Physiatry preferred.
• Inpatient, hospitalist, or post-acute experience strongly valued.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient rehab patients with hospital-level oversight.
• Manage admissions and discharges in a LTACH setting.
• Collaborate with onsite physicians and APPs.
• Maintain clinical acuity in a lower-acuity, collaborative environment.
