Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Union, South Carolina. The LTAC RN will provide specialized care for patients requiring extended medical support, including vent/trach management and telemetry monitoring.

The ideal candidate holds an Active RN License and a nursing degree, with BLS/ACLS and LTAC experience. Expect travel assignments, weekly pay, housing options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent LTAC experience.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes; able to read Tele-strips.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for LTAC patients (5-6 beds).
• Monitor and administer medications (IV, oral, subcutaneous).
• Educate patients and families on surgical processes and illness management.
• Monitor telemetry and adjust equipment as needed.
• Manage admissions and discharges in a fast-paced LTAC unit.
