Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN LTAC for a 13-week assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts; travel contract with housing options and full credentialing support.

The LTAC RN will provide comprehensive care to patients with complex chronic conditions, requiring telemetries, ventilator comfort, and end-to-end patient education. Previous LTAC experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent LTAC RN experience.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, ET tubes and reading Tele-strips.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 patients on LTAC unit.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and families on surgical processes and illness management.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret vital signs; alert team as needed.
• Perform RN duties consistently and professionally.
