MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN LTAC for a 13-week assignment in West Allis, Wisconsin. This LTAC RN role requires active RN license, 18+ months LTAC experience, and BLS/ACLS, with nights 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

Assignment includes travel, housing options, and competitive benefits through MedPro. Start date is 10/26/2026, with employment type Travel.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of LTAC RN experience.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, ET tubes, and telemetry readings.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for 5-6 patients.
• Adjust and perform in fast paced environment.
• Keep up with many admissions and discharges.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage illness.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Interpret telemetry readings and notify the medical team of irregularities.
• Perform duties of a registered nurse at all times.
• Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib.
• Use computer to monitor vital information and start IVs.
