MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Acute Care assignment in Bridgeton, Missouri. This travel role is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

The RN will provide specialized LTAC care, manage ventilated and complex patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Start date is 10/12/2026, with comprehensive benefits and housing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent LTAC experience
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes and tele-strips
• Client facility requirements may apply

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5-6 patients.
• Adjust and perform in fast paced environment.
• Manage admissions and discharges.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Educate patients and family on procedures and illness management.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret telemetry.
• Notify medical team of irregularities.
• Perform duties of a registered nurse at all times.
• Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, A-Fib.
• Start IVs, draw blood, follow patient from start to finish.
