Job summary

TotalMed RN in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced RN for a travel LTAC assignment. The role covers 12-hour night shifts over 36 hours per week with potential stipends and tax considerations.

The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-acuity care, including ventilator and wound management, discharge planning, and patient safety. A year in LTAC and BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in LTAC or similar high-acuity setting.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, monitor vital signs and lab results.
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, and advanced wound management.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans.
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery.
