Job summary

Careline-Services is recruiting for an LTAC Registered Nurse to work with Kindred Hospitals in New Jersey. The role involves 12-hour day and night shifts on per-diem assignments, providing hospital-level LTAC care to complex patients.

The ideal candidate holds ACLS/BLS, has 2 years LTAC experience, and possesses critical care, vent and trach skills. NJ RN or multi-state license must be included with the resume.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• 2 years of recent LTAC hospital experience is required.
• Experience with critical care, ventilation, and tracheostomy is required.
• RN license valid in New Jersey or multi-state RN license must be attached to resume.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to LTAC patients using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking and clinical competency.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure safe delivery of care.

Job Purpose and Responsibilities:

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements:

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
• Must have 2 years recent LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Must have critical care & vent & trach experience,
• Must have New Jersey RN or multi-state RN license, must be attached to resume

**Pay rate range of $58-60 per hour.
