LTAC Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Job in Baltimore, MD (Night Shift)

Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Baltimore, Maryland (21215) – Maryland nursing jobs
Healthcare Setting: LTAC, ICU Step Down, Brain Health, Long-Term Care Ventilator Unit
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Duration: 14 weeks (Start: 9/29/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
Orientation: 16 hours (Tuesday-Friday, day shift)
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570-$1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Maryland or Compact State RN license (required at time of submission)
Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (2 years for HICU preferred)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Completion of Basic EKG Relias prophecy exam
Experience with ventilators, telemetry, and EKG interpretation
Professional references required
Ability to float between healthcare units within RN scope of practice
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
Strict adherence to facility attendance and punctuality policies

Travel RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in LTAC, ICU step-down, Brain Health, and ventilator units
Monitor patients requiring close observation, frequent interventions, and specialized equipment (G-tubes, PICC lines, chest tubes, tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation)
Administer medications, blood products, and manage non-titratable drips
Perform complex wound care, central and peripheral line management, and ventilator weaning
Assist with acute rehabilitation, medication management, and group activities for neurological and medical patients
Float between units as needed, adapting to various patient populations and acuity levels
Participate in orientation and required virtual training modules
Maintain compliance with facility attendance and time policies
