Job description

Do you enjoy working with neurodiverse children? Want to gain a wide range of pediatric Social Work experience? Join Eyas Landing's Merlin Day Academy program! Merlin Day Academy is a new innovative program designed to provide education and therapeutic intervention in a supportive classroom environment.

We are seeking a Pediatric Licensed Social Worker to join our team of top pediatric specialists for a full-time caseload. Ideal candidates should be interested in developing their clinical skills using evidence-based practices in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative setting through one-on-one and group sessions with children and adolescents, and providing family support through direct service.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintains a caseload of individual therapy sessions, therapy groups and daily case management tasks.
  2. Completes daily treatment notes, daily data input and analysis, initial and annual evaluations, plan of care documents to update goals and other documentation as needed within required time frame.
  3. Implements Eyas Landing and Merlin Day's curriculum and theories of practice models supporting Merlin Day's therapeutic model.
  4. Participates in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including weekly emails, phone calls and in person discussions.
  5. Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed.
  6. Collaborates with scheduling team to manage caseload requirements.
  7. Creates visual schedules, social stories, and home programs to help support therapy goals.

Eyas Landing is an outpatient, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic. Our Merlin Day Academy program provides students with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neuro-diverse learning needs ages 6 to 14 an intensive, individualized educational environment that cultivates relationship-based, family-centered care to strengthen educational and functional skills for students to become active, successful participants in their community. Our collaborative team of therapists and educators provide special education and occupational therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), physical therapy, speech therapy, language therapy, nutrition, and feeding therapy services.
